The RFCFO Mission:

The overarching focus of RFCFO is to broaden the scope of the Obama grassroots outreach within the Rochester, New York faith community and to strengthen the impact of faith-based grassroots efforts to "build an America rooted in compassion and a government that reconciles the beliefs of each with the good of all" (quote from BarackObama.com).

Our primary objectives are: 

  1. To promote on-going prayer for Senator Barack Obama's family and campaign staff, along with prayers for the elected officials and families of our beloved city of Rochester and surrounding areas.
  2. To help educate Rochester people about Senator Obama's commitment to uniting people around a "politics of purpose" and not a "politics of fear"-- a politics that puts solving the challenges of everyday Americans ahead of partisan calculation and political gain. 
  3. To empower local citizens to Vote-For-Change through voter registration drives.
  4. To petition Senator Obama or Michelle Obama to make an appearance in Rochester during the campaign season.
